Book a Weymouth ferry
Weymouth is unbeatable for sheer fun and entertainment.
There are seafront rides and attractions for the children, as well as an Esplanade lined with souvenir shops, pubs and inexpensive cafes. The charming Land Train will take you right along the seafront to Lodmoor Country Park. There's also a picturesque harbour where Thomas Hardy once lived, with a redeveloped Victorian brewery housing shops, a science centre and 10-pin bowling. There's entertainment galore both day and night in Weymouth, with carnivals, festivals, regattas and firework displays throughout the holiday season. Discover Portland Castle, one of Henry VIII's finest fortresses, overlooking Portland Harbour.
